Day Ticket vs Navigo Weekly Subscription

A day pass covering all zones costs €20.10. If your stay in the city is two days or more, opting for a Navigo weekly subscription becomes a benefit. Alternatively, the Paris Visite card is designed for tourists. It provides 5 days of unrestricted travel across all zones. And it is available at €74.30. However, it is better to buy a weekly subscription. This is already available at €43.30 for zones 1 to 3. Subscription available from Friday for next week (Mon-Sun) and expires automatically.

Please note that the weekly Navigo pass follows a Monday-to-Sunday schedule. Regardless of the purchase date. If you happen to purchase the pass on Thursday, do note that it will only be valid until Sunday. It won’t last from Thursday all the way to the following Wednesday.

The Navigo pass is a cost-effective option for frequent metro riders. Individual rides cost €1.65 instead of €2.10. And a day pass is worth it if you take the metro more than five times. 

A Navigo day pass costs €8.45, while a weekly pass is even more economical at €30. Profitable when longer than 4 days taking a ride. Consider your usage frequency when deciding which pass to choose.

Age Between 10 and 26 years? Travel Cheaper on Weekends  

Young people from 10 years old up to the age of 26 can travel cheaper on weekends. For this the Navigo Youth Weekend pass is the best option. This is for metro, bus, RER, Transilien and Tram.

Children under 4 years old travel for free. Additionally,

children under 10 receive a 50% discount on individual tickets in the centre. In that case, a point-to-point ticket is the better option.
